Aloha Vibes, OluKai & Coffee and Convos
A one-night art show of hand lettering in San Diego, hosted by OluKai and Coffee and Convos.
WHY THIS WALL
On January 21, 2017, OluKai and Coffee and Convos hosted Aloha Vibes, an evening exhibit of Trysen's artwork at James Coffee Co. in San Diego.
Each framed piece paired Trysen's hand lettering with an image from a local photographer, including Tricia Cruz, Ian Gutierrez, Leslie Colon and Vanessa Chap. Lines like "Stay True To You" and "Don't Stop, Keep It Moving" were lettered to sit inside the photo, not on top of it.
Trysen also lettered a run of custom stickers for the night, including OluKai's "Anywhere Aloha" and Coffee and Convos' "Connect, Caffeinate, Create." Music came from Dauché, Qvocado and 9th Sage, with coffee from James Coffee Co.
