Aliʻi Coffee Co. Shirt Collab and Pop-Up
A hand-lettered shirt for Aliʻi Coffee Co., launched with a live-painting pop-up inside the shop.
WHY THIS WALL
Trysen designed a shirt for Aliʻi Coffee Co., hand-lettering the shop's name in flowing script framed by kalo leaves and sparkles, signed TRYS. The full piece runs across the back, with a small version on the chest.
To launch it, Trysen hosted a pop-up inside the coffee shop with his friend, artist Yuki Umi, who showed and sold her work alongside his. Trysen painted live through the event while his friend DV spun vinyl, turning a regular day at the café into a gathering for art, music and coffee. The finished canvas, a sunset over the shoreline with palms and a white hibiscus, sat on an easel at the shop's front window.
The project shows the full range of what the studio does in one place: lettering, apparel design and live painting for a local brand.
