Before founding Inspire To Create Media, artist Trysen Kaneshige participated in the Aloha Vibes OluKai Art Show in San Diego, California a collaborative event organized by Alyssa Mopia of Coffee & Convos that brought together artists, photographers, and creatives from Hawaiʻi and the mainland.
This show represented one of Trysen’s first creative showcases, bridging his island-born style with the San Diego art community. It marked the beginning of his mission to blend island roots, storytelling, and street-style design into contemporary creative spaces beyond Hawaiʻi.
Trysen collaborated with photographer friends to create mixed-media visual stories combining hand-lettered quotes and photography.
The artwork reflected connection between artist and audience, land and sea, culture and identity capturing the heart of modern Hawaiʻi through design and community.
The OluKai Art Show remains a defining early chapter in Trysen’s journey, a moment where purpose, art, and connection began merging into the creative identity that later became Inspire To Create Media.
