THE STORY
WHY THIS WALL
Painted in 2025 on a block wall at the YMCA on Oʻahu.
A pink hibiscus fills the wall in full bloom, its stamen reaching up toward a monarch butterfly coming in to land. The painting wraps the wall's block joints, so the flower reads from the street and up close.
